The 12oz (340g) Johnsen's R134a service charge canister has a self seal valve and contains R134a gas.
Being actual R134a, it is suited to recharge any and every R134a A/C system being the original fill refrigerant. It is chemically identical to the A/C systems original gas charge and fully compatible with the factory fill compressor oil.
Typically, an air conditioning system will leak a few percent of refrigerant every year via natural migration through flexible hoses and generally does require a top up to restore the proper cooling capacity; usually every 4 to 6 years.
Tap fitting is standard 1/2" ACME taper thread.
